Type 7 Shuttle Build by Doug Sterling-Stewart.
I’m really enjoying progressing with my Type 7 shuttle model. The first picture shows the model right out of the box. Due to the printing process, the are a lot of flat spots to address.
The model has had a filler primer coat, then sanded, and then a white primer coat and sanded again. This has smoothed out the flat spots quite well. It has had another white primer coat and a final white top coat.

This is how my shuttle looks at the moment. I need to get some duck egg blue paint for the rear. I also took your advice and painted the windows.

I’ve started applying decals to the shuttle. The blue on the shuttle rear is a bit bright, but once I hit it with a matt clear coat , it’ll hopefully darken a bit.
Calling this one done, my Type 7 Shuttlecraft. I thoroughly enjoyed working in this model and it turned out not too bad. Now on to the next one!
